All that Divorced Gal (DG) needed to hear from 38 year old Pamela Wests’ mouth was “I’m not really a Girly girl” and it was like daring me to eat the whole slab of chocolate at once! I can and will eat that slab baby and me and my sensational make over team are going to take Pam from not girly to WOW WOW WOW!!!!
For this particular make over, I asked my FB followers to vote a gal in, so I chose Pamela because she got the most votes from her friends! I asked her why her friends want this make over for her, I knew that I had such a perfect gal, when she told me that she does not have great self esteem and also never has spare money to do much with herself, because she is mom to three children.
I can’t wait to make this ravishing red head feel like a super model and spend some time revealing to her (and you of course) just how much we Gal’s can do with ourselves.
Pam and DG share a similar humor, so we had each other giggling in no time with our verbal quips (of course no rude words were used at all ; )
We chatted about Pam’s childhood, marriage and divorce, and I loved how open she was with me. She plans to continue her journey with pride and DG was really impressed by the insight that Pam has into herself. It is really courageous to take ownership of our contribution to where we find ourselves in life, instead of seeing ourselves as a victim. She acknowledges that she is still in the process of learning to love herself. You go gal!
DG hopes to help just a little, because I’m a true believer that if we look our best, that energy can go a long way to feeling our best!
Pam feels that her ‘soft heart’ and need to please others has often been her Achilles heel. She recognises why she has sought affirmation and how this has often led to others taking advantage of her. We both agreed that some self nurture and learning not to need external approval could be key to transporting her to a far more positive place in her life.
As you can tell we had a very cool coffee therapy session and Pam ticked all of DG’s beeeeeg ball check list boxes. Her mom taught her to have a strong work ethic as a young teen and she has used this drive to help animals. Pam is the chairman and fund raiser of a division of the SPCA, as well as working full time and of course parenting. #supergal #animallove
She has dated since her divorce, but has not found Mr Right yet. She values intelligence, integrity and will never ‘sell herself short’ again! Inbox me if you think you know of a great guy for her ?
About two years ago, Pam found herself longing for peace and to ‘quiet all the noise and fear in her head’. This led her to start going regularly to ‘Nan Hau’, a Buddist temple, where she meditates and finds a means of positive escape. I was LMAO when she told me that she requests a silent badge on arrival there every time, so that no one will bother her during her me time…
Pam’s favorite quotes
“You’re still a rockstar, I whisper to myself as I take my multivitamin & climb into bed at 21h 45”.
“The most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched, they must be felt with the heart” Helen Keller.
“Our prime purpose in this life is to help others. And if you can’t help them, at least don’t hurt them” Dalai Lama.
Watch this space for Pams sensational makeover. She is truly a special gal.
Lots of love and strength
